  • The pronnunciation is "Am Botach" = The old man Sp Am Bodach and Aonach Eagach (Notched mountain) is pronunced "Oonuch Eggach" Actually more correct is An 't' Aonach Eagach. Hinkes is a great climber, but his Gaelic pronnunciation would is unrecognisable - Sorry John from Skye
