Eastwood Reflective Chrome Powder Coat is the most reflective powder coat currently available. This polyester powder cures in 20 minutes after flow-out at 375 degrees F. Reflective Chrome must be top coated with a Clear or Translucent finish for maximum durability and to prevent tarnishing.

Do you apply the second coat while the part is still hot or do you let it cool and how long should the extra coat bake? I'm planning to spray the translucent violet over this chrome.

You can apply it hot or cold, for some it is easier to "hot flock" the second coat on just after the base layer flows out. Follow normal curing instructions when applying the second coat. Hope that helps!- EW

I would like to just use an oven for powdercoating vs making one..How big of a wheel could you fit in that..If its possible.

A couple things about doing that: #1 needs to be high temp, most powders are only rated for 250 degrees continuous use. I haven't found any high temp reflective powders, only like aluminum powders. Also, it may cause more heat to be trapped in the block, we tried testing it using an old amo box, heating it up then taking measure then coating it with a high temp clear and testing it again.... but no way to tell how much hotter the block will get, in a full build the extra heat could be bad news.
