Foster's voice on this song will make any girl cry, he did a wonderful job with this song and I know Elvis would of been proud of this remake back in the days, I will never stop loving Foster Sylvers til this very day, I wish him the very best in his life ahead, he was my childhood idol and I still enjoy his music, it will never get old to me.......
I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED THIS SONG SUNG BY FOSTER SYLVERS. HE DID AN INCREDIBLE JOB WITH THIS SONG THAT CONSISTS OF GOSPEL, BLUES AND A HINT OF COUNTRY. IT IS BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL VERSION RECORDED BY THE LATE ELVIS PRESLEY IN 1956. FOSTER SYLVERS HAS DONE AN OUTSTANDING JOB AND DELIVERED THIS SONG THE WAY IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN SUNG! "I, PHOENIX, VOTE THIS SONG 5 STARS!" *****
I have listened to this song over dozens of times in the late 70's and each times I hear it, it makes me break down and cry. To this day, it still has the same effect on me. This version is so beautiful!
(Under "Wish You Were Here") Guess I could say, "Wish you were there..or had been there yackin' and droppin' some of YOUR Sylvers Fan Knowledge too!" I'm a fan no doubt, but an amateur fan compared to you three, probably. Those two ladies sure know their Sylvers stuff! You might've enjoyed the banter we had. Thanks for all the uploads!
Wow...I'm having flashbacks of Bobby Brown singing HIS "Don't Be Cruel". But THIS is nice. He puts that ole Elvis version to shame...I don't even REMEMBER the words to that version. This one makes you LISTEN to what the boy is SANGIN' about! You know??? You should check out the chat we had under the Sylvers' 1974 song...

Foster did an incredible job on this song. I wish more young singers could sing about being in love be it real or puppy love. Kudos to him on this!
