She never tried to be Jackie O, the media tagged her that, why try to be like someone else when you have your own identity and style. I have never heard Michelle O say that she tries to be like Jackie O. I hate to say it, but most blacks get offended when you compare our fashion sense, education, etc. to that of a whte person, In doing so, you're saying that only whites can own the rights and the patent on fashion, education, success, etc. Michelle O is her own person. I don't hate Michelle, she's not a terrible person and didn't do anything to annoy me, and it upsets me when tabloids make up cheap things to hurt women in a higher status. But I don't see where these Jacqueline Kennedy comparisons came from. She obviously has her own "style" and never wanted to be a Jackie. The media has no sense whatsoever. I'm not trying to be mean, and I understand you all like her, but the comparisons just puzzle me. So far, she hasn't dazzled me, but I respect her.
