I used to pitch this. RCA kept Keith's vocal from the Sony/Tree 8-track demo and added new production posthumously. It was written by Keith, Gary Nicholson & Don Cook. Mark Chesnutt told me last year that he and his band listen to it (the original demo) every night on the bus before they go on stage! ~ Garth Shaw

Keith could always sing a song like no other. His voice and style were wonderful. I like this song although it's a little sad. Like he says here, you can get caught up in the words of a song. i had a friend years ago who had a failed marriage and he said he couldn't listen to love songs anymore. I felt bad for him and I hope somewhere down the road he found that oftentimes music can be like sharing with someone. Thanks so much for posting this winner. - Paula (PaulinaRena)
