3:42- Is that Neil Hamilton...Commissioner Gordon from the 1966 Batman TV series?

God's own Jean Arthur. An American original. She was a unique and amazing woman. There will never be another like her. I love Jean Arthur.

To me, Jean Arthur was the top female screw ball comedienne....followed by Myrna Loy, Carole Lombard, Ginger Rogers, Irene Dunne, Katharine Hepburn...and of course Claudette Colbert. But Arther was the one, without which, the whole genre could not be imagined. She had the heart and soul of a great comedienne...the right looks...and body language...and her voice has been described as "the sound of a hundred bells ringing".

Absolutely lovely tribute to a wonderful and talented actress. The photos are divine.

Beautiful photos...I think that Gladys Greene had exception taste in heroes too. Joan of Arc (Jeanne d'Arc) & King Arthur. It's too bad that she suffered from extreme stage fright, often getting sick prior to going on stage. Otherwise, she might have won more roles. ★★★★★

I just LOVE Jean Arthur! The second I saw "Easy Living" she went straight to the top of my favorite actresses list.

This was lovely - I thought the music worked really well with the pictures.

I love that Jean Arthur didnt want to share her life with the press. As long as there are great tributes to her, she will always be remembered.

Thanks for the info Laura. The pictures were collected over a long period of time from many sources including books. I try to use only the best quality images for my videos and I spend a lot of time on image restoration. I think Ms. Arthur was worth it!
