The city was burned down in the Great Fire of London, but it wiped out the great plague with it, & rebuilt itself into the worlds financial, fashion, theatre & restaurant capital today!

Nice facts, but they would have been better told by a human beeing. No offense, but this voice sounds like WALL-E having sex with a speak and spell.

This was apparently read by a voice synthesizer as indicated by incorrect pronunciation of certain words such as reading "ca" for circa (ca. is the abbreviation but a voice synthesizer wouldn't know that.) And no it doesn't sound like Hawkins, he has a different voice synthesizer. It's actually a pretty good rendering, just goes too fast in some places (lack of punctuation) and a few mispronunciations (such as fi-refighting instead of fire-fighting). Amazing technology.
