Ten Minutes of Airventure 2009: Part 1

PLEASE READ: Here is the first part of my "Ten Minutes of Airventure 2009" series. I have pulled some of the better footage from the nearly 6 hours of HD video I took over my ten day trip. The video is completely unedited in anyway...aside form cropping the scenes to fit within ten minutes. The video is designed to show the atmosphere of Airventure in as many aspects as possible (arrivals, departures, set up, airshows, etc...). Part two will be uploaded soon. Let me know what you think! NOTE: If you think I may have footage of your aircraft let me know and I will look. If I happen to have some, I will put it at the end of the next installment.

Brilliant video - in many ways better than your Airventure 2009 vid (although that is fantastic aswell) as it really captures what it's like to be there.

I believe it ground looped, but as you can see in the video I was sitting down and didn't actually capture the entire event. It did get up on the nose though.

from 0:36 to :47 the pilot was definitely a quick thinker. He shut his engine down just before he groundlooped and saved his engine and possibly the propellor too.
