Eloy - Company of Angels

'Company of Angels' is the closing song in 'The Tides Return Forever' album and is dedicated to Jeanne d'Arc. It starts quiet with dulcimer-like sounds, which seems to symbolize the frail Jeanne d'Arc. After some time, her arming is marching in the room, in the form of a heavier piece, with an impressive choir-part. This is alternated with quieter passages. The song features a great chorus melody, some inspiring synth work, very good guitar solos, incredible bassplaying and solid drum work. It totally lives up to the expectations as the epic and symphonic atmosphere really shines in every second of the song.

Es war eine Schande, wie unsere deutsche Presse immer wieder diese klasse Band aus Hannover verrissen hat!!!

Ich habe das nie verstanden, warum es unseren eigenen Leuten immer so schwer gemacht wird (siehe Scorpions mit denen Eloy mal zusammen aufgetreten sind)....
