This is the second part to my pumpkin carving documentary. This is where I begin the carving process to completion. I also have a simpler pumpkin carving at the end of this using the same process.

  • You say to use car headlights because they're bright enough...what if you want to illuminate the pumpkin for on your doorstep? What light would you use inside? (My hubby took a stab at carving today :P)

  • @aStraykat I'd say carve the inside portion of the flesh really thin.... maybe 1/2 a centimeter if you can... that would allow the most light to shine through...

Overall, this is one of the most helpful youtube vids I've seen. Thanks, bro. You got some real patience.

  • what site to send ur carving ..? i never carve b4. but would luv to try .. then send for contest .. like urs .. :) great work bro ..

  • Thank you very much for a well made enjoyable and informative video.

  • @XxLeurxX I was thinking the same thing. However the hole would allow more of the pumpkin (the interior) to be exposed to air- which would probably speed up the process of decay. Though if one is fine with that, then by all means try it! :)

  • have you thought of using the pumpkins imperfections as an asset?

  • @aStraykat Use LEDs

  • Nice, I really liked bob the tomatoe
