I get a lot of messages asking what kind of table we play on, how tight the pockets are, etc. So, I've put together some clips that should help illustrate the level of difficulty this table presents. Really its the table/ball combination that makes this table quite difficult.

For reference, the table is an 1890s Brunswick 10-foot snooker table, covered with Simonis 860 cloth, and outfitted with 2.25-inch balls.

  • You should send this clip to the National Health Service as it would save them a fortune in prescribing sleeping pills!

  • This wasn't meant to be terribly exciting. Just an illustration of how difficult our table is.

  • why dont you just cut the pockets out. Take that bit of the cloth off for a minute and cut it so it makes the pockets bigger. Thats what im going to do when i get my pool table, because Australia doesnt play with like American billiard type pool tables so i am going to cut the pockets out on mine so i can play WELL and not miss like every shot when it bounces around in the jaws

  • We don't wait our table to be easier. Tight pockets make us shoot with extra precision, and thus this table makes excellent practice for pocketing balls. Besides, it's one of the oldest Brunswick snooker tables in existence (over 100 years old!) and we're not about to start cutting up the rail rubber.

Thanks for the comment, and please check out our other vids from this same table!

  • Easy that table, I reckon i could knock in at least a 145 on it lol. Seriously though I play snooker for two teams and pool for my county and i really wouldn't like to play a match on this bad boy! Sweet table.

  • @asadrobot its good 2 b tight but unfair is not good either

  • you must play small balls ;)

  • @pickmolly Don't worry i got the joke.

  • tighter than a nun's arse...

  • in portugal classical tables are like that.... and belive it or not after getting used to it it's easier than tables woth bigger holes... i think it's because u cant point any where else but the hole core....

  • at :50 sec you can see you have the wrong size balls for one. the second the cusions look like pool table cusions? they are not the "L" snooker cusions the side pockets are huge you could drive a small truck in there ?poor job on cutting the corner rubbers you have left too much rubber at the back part of the cusion lol .sell it and buy beer!!

  • this is a pool table not a snooker table

  • 1:05 1:14 for some reason really remind me of goatse, lol. table looks like a right beast to play though, congrats.

  • I play on a table similar to the one in the video. That kind of table really separates the men from the boys. I love getting pool players on the table and laughing as they attempt ridiculous shot and miss, all the time wondering why they are missing.

  • corr that table does look hard... but it does also look like the balls you are using are a bit too big. is it a full size table?
