People on the streets need a friend. In a rich province like Alberta, there is no need for anyone to be cold or hungry. The province relies heavily on Churches to pick up the slack. I'm afraid we as christians have missed the mark. We need to pool our resources and remember that what these people need is to feel the warmth of human touch and encouraging words. Christians, as well intentioned as we are, have decided they must hear the gospel before we feed them.....We think we should feed them, listen to their pain and befriend them.Let Jesus shine through us in our actions. Love them wether or not they ever come to love the Lord. Love them...cause He loves you!
