I totally agree with you about the locking accelerator that why I make my own. I don't use their shampoo cause it's just too expensive so I use simple. The only things I have ever purchased from dreadhead are the wax dread butta and loose hair tool.

@J2K100 Yeah the loose hair tool is cool. They are $1 at a craft store though. It's actually called a rug hook. The best thing for loose hairs though is a floss threader. You can get a pack of 100 for about $2. They are made to pull dental floss through braces and stuff. They work great. Problem is... I went out of business cause I'm too honest. Try the floss threaders. You'll love em.

@J2K100 That's a lot of peoples problem. No offence. They believe the people who are trying to take money from them. Accelerator is just sea salt. They buy it for $2 a pound and sell it for around $2500 a pound. Their shampoo is just a relabeled eczema shampoo. They use the same bottle and switch stickers. They say their accelerator has magical pixie dust in it but it's really just sea salt. I could say honey was good for dreads and sell it for $10 a spoonful but I'm not like that.

wuddup brudda. you're awesome. I try to save ppl money too. I use the aloe plant. I was on this one chics channel (tonya tko) and she's selling shea butter "souffle" for all this money because its in a pretty jar. I went on and told ppl if they didnt have all that money that they could make it themselves and how they can buy it locally in its raw and organic state for dirt cheap. of course she deleted my comment and blocked me.lol if I can save some 1 a buck, then I will. peace and power to you

hey man, thanks for the tip! but i got a question, you said not to use wax for maintenance of your dreads, and I've read about just back combing your hair and palm rolling. would you suggest not use wax all together, like from the start ?
