All four movements are marked "Durations are free" and each one is individually marked (in order): Slow, Fast, Very Slow, Very fast.

@bbnut bring boring boring well try playing it while COUNTING - this is marked scoring -- as for the experience of listening if you don't like it maybe you'll like the other side of the tones perhaps the under tone the side of your experience that you perhaps forget that which drives you to listening experience

of course its different and it lasts a long time.Non contrasting sections.I d like to find out where he is coming from Elliot Carterand Babbitt dont sound anything like this. like someone daubing color in time.I could listen only to this easily every day ,the changes r memorable each has an effect but not memorable like a theme or rhythm. Full of color but not like Messaienor later french piano colors.American? Yeah. events slow enough to register unlike so much good american music
