Im so glad you all like this video. These kids were AMAZING! So full of life and spirit. We became instant best friends. In the Early 80, after Ida Amin regime, The Jews of Uganda actualy built a KIBUTZ to revitalize the comunity! And all the young Jews lived there and Music became their main link and form of comunal expresion. I have more videos with the kids I'll post soon. Also the Abayudaya have an awsome CD that I highly recomend.

I wish I had known about the Abayudaya Jews of Uganda when I was last in Uganda. Not sure if I will be going back. If this doesn't put a big smile on your face...their joy is wonderful.
