  • can you do this on regular macbook

or it must run on macbook pro?

  • yes they all have the thing called sms

i think thats what its called

  • So I did everything you said, and Terminal says AMS Hardware present and initialized. Spaces are activated too but nothing happens when I hit my macbook. What should I do?

  • ok your script may not be sensitive enough to recognize the smack so you may have to download the script again.

  • i just tried it when i read the comment and my software is updated and everything and it works fine.

you should go over what you enter in. im not so clear in the video so ill tell you what you need to type.

#1 line. cd make sure you have a space after cd and copy and paste the folder

    #2 line. chmod +x smackleopard.command

    #3 line. ./smackleopard.command

  • did this exaclty like you said and as soon as i pressed the last enter the mac goes crazy and starts jumping very quickly from one space to another and it wont stop.

  • also your script may be to sensitive.

    what is yours at?

  • At the end when I hit control + c the smack longer works

  • macbook as well not a power mac or ibooks just macbooks and macbook pros

  • i did get to the AMS hardware present and initialized

but after i smacked it nothing happened it only came up with ^[[5D^ when i smacked the right side of the screen. Any help plz?

  • after I type in cd [space], drag the file over, ad hit enter, it just gives me:

    my-macbook-pro:smackbook me$

after that, I typed chmod +x smackleopard.command, hit enter, and it gave me:

chmod: smack: No such file or directory

chmod: leopard.command: No such file or directory

  • if that happens type in chmod -s than it will ask for ur password type it in. do the chmod +x smackleopard.command, than type exit
