This video shows you how to sync the 2500 with a workstation, In this video I am using the motif es6. I was extremely tired when making the video,so forgive me, On one part I said turn the voice off, I meant to say "Turn your LocalCtrl - OFF. Also I ended up running out of time, But what I was saying at the end is that you have to turn all of your (Pgm:OFF) only on your MIDI Tracks, To avoid the little delay that you may have when you hit PLAY START. Hope this helps!

  • hi waht is the point of a mpc when the motif has drums???

  • @hallal55 What's good Man! The MPC originally stood 4 MIDI PRODUCTION CENTER, Now the M stands 4 MUSIC. 4 me it is much easier 2 Sequence and do all of my MIDI stuff from the MPC, Besides that, I hate trying 2 bang out beats using keys, I prefer the pads of an MPC. And that is only the beginning of it. And Oh Yeah did I mention it's SAMPLING CAPABILITIES! If u can, see if 1 of your friends have 1 and see if they can show u some things. i can't be with out mine. Ps Talkbox over autotune anyday!

  • @don1mega when you take all of that into ProTools how do you get the audio from the keyboard?.....When I Sync a keyboard to my MPC & then into protools i only get sounds from my MPC, no audio from what i played on the keyboard..

  • @escobarstatus Use your INPUT THRU on your MPC, run your keyboard in to your record in jacks on your mpc. I use a digital rca cable for superior sound quality. and then turn your input thru on, and you should be good. Hit me up if you have any other questions.

  • Nice info,man. What model # is your MPC L.E.? I've got an MPC 2500 L.E. #187/500...

  • where is the rest of this ????

  • Hey can anyone help me out I'm having a issue with my setup I have a video up of the issue.

  • THIS VIDEO REALLY MAKES MY A.D.D. KICK IN

  • good video! can you play the motif and have the MPC record the midi data so that you can then have the mpc play the motif based of that data? i know people usually create the midi data on the mpc to sequence the motif, although that can be time intensive.

  • The guy on camera needs to get better closer shots of what you are doing on the screen

  • do you know what the problem is with pitc shifting? When i put a sample one semitone up or down (+1.00 -1.00) than the sample sounds damaged. But when i put the sample one octave up or down (+12.00 -12.00) no problem.

    Can you help me?

  • @don1mega I did that.... i got a whole sequence in my mpc, drums from the mpc & keys from a Fantom....Just when i take it to Protools only the drums show......Do i need to record a midi track & audio?
