Exactly, they are there own band. I like the Killers, but I never think about them when I hear the Gaslight Anthem. If I think about anyone its Bruce Springsteen, the driving force that the whole band encompasses. Forcing their thoughts onto you. Classy as hell. Just like Springsteen. :)

This band isn't like anyone I've ever heard before. Although, everyone who likes this band should check out Against Me! Their sounds definitely aren't the same, but they have similar styles and their front-men have a lot of the same charm.

@danogolden mtv is not about music anymore, it's all about pregnant teen moms and jersey shore ! Gaslight Anthem should be on MTV, I still wonder why they call it MusicTV. I know Gaslight Anthem just for a week now.. I should've known them from the beginning !

Best band in a looong time! And if you know this band at all then you know they are nothing like the killers. Sink or Swim is just pure awesome. The 59 Sound is pure genius.
