  • @SinanAkgoz You have to point the plane into the crosswind. If you plot the plane's path relative to the ground, it is flying straight along the path to the runway, but it has to point into the wind so that it is not blown off course.

  • It's because of the crosswinds..it's difficult to land in crosswinds, particularly heavy ones.

  • Why doesn't the pilot approach the runway directly as it should? Is it not dangerous to land sideways?
