What kind of camera/software do you need to do those kind of videos?

I just take the individual pictures using my digital camera (Sony cybershot 3.2 Megapixels) with the picture size at 640x480 so i can take up to 700 Frames,i then download the pictures onto my pc.i use Arcsoft Showbix 2 to animate it all.I run at 20 Fps (Frames per second).
