  • I was in this choir and that song literally changed my whole perspective on composing, singing, and life as a whole. This will always be one of my favorite pieces of music.

  • =) Ola is coming to my high school to listen to us sing this and give us direction. Very very excited!

  • The name of the song is Northern Lights? :D

  • They're singing much quicker than my choir's practices XD

We might speed up to this, though I think it'd be more alluring if it slowed down. It feels more like a slow song.

  • I love this song! It is definatly my favorite choral piece I have ever sung. I agree that the soprano part is really fun to sing! especially because I am a soprano 2 and never get to sing as high as as I can. This is aso the only piece that whie our chior is rehersing, there is no talking. This is because no one wants to ruin the trance this song creates.

  • We are doing this in concert choir next year, I can't wait! Anyone here from Central High?

  • I absolutely love this piece. I sang it in my Acappella choir this past year and it was amazing. I love being a saprano in it.

  • I love this piece. I feel proud that my heritage is Norweian.

  • Exquisite..............

  • @jleisure7 Oh my gosh, I know how you feel! Desert Vista High School has been doing Gjeilo's music for years (we even got a commission of "The Ground,") and each time, I feel like I'm going to cry when I perform it because it makes me FEEL. I don't know if that would make sense to anyone besides someone who has performed his music because it's just so... moving

  • Great performance!! Great choir!! Great music!! Great composer!! I'm searcing for moreof all right now!!
