MACBETH - The Final Battle!

--- MACBETH - The Final Battle! ---

March, 2009. An english class at South Lakes High School assigns a project with the basis of Shakespeare's classic, MACBETH. The assignment details the two choices a group could undertake - A) preforming a scene of your choice, live in front of the class - or B) showcasing a scene of your choice through a video. You could probably guess which one we chose. Here's a hint. It wasn't option A. ;)

A few words on this one. I honestly did not expect this to come out the way it did. XD Not only is this my first production with the awe-inspiring editing software that is Pinnacle Studios Ultimate 12, AND with the brand spanking new HD Sony Camcorder? Yeah, there was a learning curve to say the least. XD We were really tight on schedule with this one. Everyone had something to do, until two days prior to the due date. We started filming and everything was going swell, when Justice Anderson sprained his knee rehearsing the battle scene. Yeah, he was originally going to play Macduff. Katelyn Bellows thankfully stepped in to be Macduff - which means...who else but her wonderful man Brendan Ginsburg stepped in at the last moment to play the intriguing Malcolm (the King of Scotland, by the end of the story OHNOES spoilers). It was a pretty hectic two days, but in the end, it paid off. We presented our project first, and resulting from that - no one else wanted to present after us. They felt that it was (not bragging, actual words here) TOO good. Jesus. The project was then POSTPONED to the following monday. Thrilled? I'd say so.
