Land Rovers DO NOT break in the Australian terrain, its all about how you drive them. I reguarly go 4x4ing and have never had any breakdowns/problems, its just that there are the bogans who drive their car to destruction because they have no skill.

I have a L322 RR. And I can assure you that this was and will be my first and last range rover car. I'm not doing much off road, every maintenance is done at the dealer garage but i've already been twice broken down on the highway !! (I drive 22 000 miles = 35 000 km a year)
The first time, it was an electronic problem with the gearbox. The 2nd time, no more coolant in the engine.

Well... this video proved nothing...

@flanker271 BTW... toyotas do breakdown...

True...I'd go for Jap reliability over English capability in 4x4's any day...oops, should I say, Indian 4x4? ;-)

@bigbigtitties1 There is only one place the Patrol can go and the Range Rover can't. The junk! Range Rovers are outrageous cars.

I'd rather push my 80 series Land Cruiser than drive a Range Rover. Thankfully, due to exceptional build quality and regular maintanance breakdowns are not an issue.

@RRALEX96 any car is unreliable if you dont take care of it. I drive a patrol and u would never take a RR where i take it, Apples and pears!

rovers break down all the time in australia they cant handle the tough terrain rovers are used to soft pussy terrain

@RRALEX96 wish it was like that with me and my old RR
I'll take a Land Cruiser over a Range Rover any day....not because of its superior offroad capability, but because I won't be broken down and stranded in the middle of nowhere.
