After having his son, Daniel, kidnapped and placed in the Nerve Gas house by Jigsaw, Detective Eric Matthews discovered Jigsaw's lair, and with help from the S.W.A.T. team, he tried to convince Jigsaw to give up the whereabouts of the house. Jigsaw proposed a deal, stating that all Matthews had to do was listen, and he would get his son back. Though Detective Mathews remained patient and listened for a while, he eventually grew tired of Jigsaw's game and instead resorted to brutality. After beating Jigsaw to within an inch of his life, Jigsaw ended the game, and took Matthews to the house. The detective entered the house, only to find that his son was not inside. It was then revealed that Daniel was actually back in the factory room where Eric first found John Kramer, locked in a timed safe and supplied with oxygen. The video feeds of the events which took place in the Nerve Gas House, shown to the SWAT team and Eric, were actually a recording from hours before, when the house test was taking place. Eric needed only to keep his patience and Daniel would have been released to him, only a few feet away from where he was sitting. After entering the Bathroom from the original Saw movie, which was hidden in the foundation of the house, Eric was attacked by Amanda, disguised in a pig mask, as she leapt out and jabbed a syringe into the detective's neck, drugging him. When he awoke, he was chained to a pipe. Amanda then appeared by the doorway, and closed it, leaving him in the dark with the dead bodies of Xavier, Zep, Adam, and Dr. Gordon's decaying foot.

Tape (in Amanda's voice): Hello, Eric. You probably don't even remember me, but you changed my life once. You sent me to prison. I was guilty of a lot of things, but not for the drug charge you framed me for. You wouldn't know the things you lose when you're locked away. The second time somebody changed my life, I was guilty, but my life was saved that day. I found myself a father, a leader, a teacher. What is the cure for cancer, Eric? The cure for death itself? The answer...is immortality. By creating a legacy, by living a life worth remembering, you become immortal. So now we find the tables are turned. It is I who will carry on John's work after he dies, and you are my first test subject. Now you are locked away, helpless and alone...Game over.

  • Me: Oh yeah did he just say you will find him in a (safe) and secure state.

Me: Come the fuck on, holy fucking shit! Are you an idiot!?!? He just synthesized safe.

  • Jigsaw: Stay and talk to me long enough and you will find your son in a safe and secure state.

Me: Okay there is a safe to his side if anyone was paying attention you might think the son could fit in there.

Detective: WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!?!?!?

  • what a pro jigsaw puts his hand up to say back off and whats he get?? SNAP!!!!

  • @SheepTheKiller I kinda so, but i also feel that he deserves it.

  • @LuxConcordiae Do you think anyone's basic memory and pattern recognition would break down under those circumstances? The only people who ever survive the Jigsaw traps are the ones who play the game by the rules. Not many hostage situations are resolved with brute force.

  • @HopelessRomantic999 Okay, fine. You try it, if you're so tough.

Have your son kidnapped by an insane old guy that has killed so many people.

  • 3:40

Jigsaw: what the fuck r u doing with my finger?

Detective: THIS!!!! *Snap* Thats for talking about my son, want another broken? OLD MAN?!!?!
