09 Lancer Evo X

My new car. An '09 Lancer Ralliart (for the purests out there that can't accept that it is an Evo X)

Okay.. I'm finding out there are more differences.




The seats, and the sway bar are the minor things. I have a single scroll-turbo while the Evo X has the twin scroll-turbo. And the transmissions are different. :( Okay..
n00bify me a little bit here.

Still in love with her, and thinking about adding a couple of after market parts. Would like to upgrade the intake on the car. You can see it in the engine pic around 0:25, would like to get something a little better.

As for the poster of this vid. I love Mitsubishi, especially my evo x gsr. I drove the raliart before I decided to buy my evo. It is a very nice ride, but its no evo. I know if you put a full 3" turboback exhaust, intake, boost pill and get a custom tune, you will be way quicker than a stock evo in a straight line. Enjoy your car bro, there's nothing wrong with driving a Ralliart!

@Marknewf1974 Thanks for the comments, and it's okay.. being that this is old! Actualyl I just had to put new tires on her, and wet the alignment done. Still love the car, and I treat her WELL!!!! Because i treat her well, she treats me well... though STILL HARD TO KEEP HER CLEAN!!!!!

My apologies for some of the mistakes in the info. I will changes... and yeah... I'm a bit "big boned". Don't like the seats digging into my sides.

As for the reason for the savign of 8 grand. Sadly for now this has to be my "every day" car. Though.. 247 hp is NICE to have in just this "plain" where the Evo X starts at 300.

Still I call it my baby Evo X. I'm the only one in the area that i live in (at least that i know of) with this. (there are no evo Xs around.)

Congrats, I just bought my 2009 Phantom Black Evo on Sunday and its fucking amazing, little more power then yours but I bet yours still puts you back in your seat, I know mine does =P Happy for yah!

@XeseroxEUR thats very true treat her good and shes gonna treat you the way u deserve... and about ur ralliart dont worry dude u have one of a kind car, i used to have one ralliart for about one year and trust me those ralliarts are fucking fast...i used to call it my baby evo too :). now i have an evo x gsr 2010 fully load but i still miss those lighting shifts...and about those haters just ignore them... i think they drive their moms town and country piece of shit...

@vege22o. I know this is an old post, but you said the evo x gsr is a little slower than the mr! It's actually the other way around. The mr is about 3/10's of a second slower in the 1/4 mile, maybe more.

dont listen to the haters. get some coilovers and a few engine mods and you will be faster than an evo (maybe for less money too)

Oh, and as far as upgrading it, to make it faster, the best bang for your buck would be a Boost Pill and a ECU Flash, that will give it Evo X power in a straight line.

Just because they look similar, does not make them similar, their similarities are purely cosmetic, the inards of the 2 cars are VERY different, the Rallart scored a .80 on the skid pad, the Evo X scored a .99, thats a big difference.
