In this video I go over the contents of my EVAC pack. Some people call this a bug out bag or an urban survival kit or a 72 hour kit. I currently live in New Orleans where evacuation is a very real and potential thing so I call it a my evacuation pack. This pack has all the tools necessary to survive in a disaster scenario for a 4-5 days comfortably and weeks not so comfortably. I also have a supplemental kit in my car that adds a pair of sleeping bags, tent, hiking boots and clothes.

  • You are setup really well for comms/power. I would add some sort of SS bottle for boiling water. You could filter then treat chemically, but boiling water is the quickest and most effective. I might check out that battery system, right now I just use a solio magnesium for my iphone and i have a solar charger for aa aaa c d batteries although it is kind of bulky for my pack.

  • @Frooshmeister thanks for the comment. I'm not sure if you saw it, but sitting to the right of the food supply I have a pinnacle dualistic cookset with a 2 liter cookpot and an Msr pocket rocket stove. Also included in the kit is a carbon water with iodine viralguard attachment. Take a look at goal zero solar equipment. I have great success with their stuff

  • Is this pack for just you or you and your girl? Does your girl have pack? If not, why not? If she carry a pack, why are you carrying her tampons?

  • @TatutKhem I packed it this way in the event that We can only grab the one backpack. We do have a supplemental bag packed with sleeping bags, tent, clothes and hygiene items; but in the event that we are only able to carry the one bag we wanted to be prepared
