  • You guys are idiots. The people who don't think this is real have no idea about CVT systems or how they interact with a turbo system. This video is 100% real. Anyone wondering can look up turbo altima coupe on google or speed force racing. Tell me what's real then.

  • Also, does anyone pay attention to the video? A: The car doesn't accelerate that fast naturally, so it must be attributed to something.....wonder if its a turbo? B: Look under the fuel gauge, see the numbers going from 2 to 4 with the little M above it? That means manual mode of the CVT.

  • Now, given the fact that the coupe only comes in CVT and 6 speed manual, and the manual doesn't have a displayed gear position in the instrument cluster, this absolutely confirms the validity of the title, CVT. Thanks, and have a good day.

  • The CVT is Dynoable! All you have to do is change the X on the graph from RPM to MPH.

  • @whatsdare dumbass

  • ***CVT EXPLAINED***

The term CVT means Constantly Variable Transmission, aka Constant Velocity Transmission, It's the same as a snowmobile, you can have a 2 or 3 speed snowmobile. The car still HAS gears, that are DRIVEN by a CVT system. It WILL SHIFT, under that HARD of acceleration

  • its not turbo he is in manual mode and he quicky up shifts to give the apparence of a turbo but its not.

  • This is indeed real. Nice job.

All the losers that hate on CVT's all day can suck a nut. They just regurgitate the same shit they hear from other losers.

  • @moonfades2009 It does in sport mode . . . I have a 2007 Altima 3.5SE w/CVT

  • @LordAbraxesDark hey i got an 08 lancer es cvt was just wondering I just installed A forged stroker kit for my 4b11 now I want to put turbo on it at around 16 pound boost of turbo is their anyway to make A cvt hold that much turbo like get A stronger belt for it or some how make it bullet proof I do alot of research and automatic trannys can be built to be bullet proof was wondering how your cvt turbo is holding up and what did you do to make it run reliable with turbo.

  • @a1u1s1t1e1n seriously its not my fault I got a transformer car and it shifts for me :D

  • @mucushrapnel, do u really want to put your foot to the floor and stay at the same rpm the whole time, im guessing not, yes it does keep it in the powerband but nothing is as fun as hearing the rpms change when you shift. now in the video, i wouldnt call that shifting cause it only dropped 1000 rpm each time and it was freakin slow car, my brothers 2.0 4 cyl elantra stock would smoke that. nothing is as reliable and oringanal than 5/6 speed stick manual with 3 pedals in front of the seat

  • @adidas2go why would you want it to simulate shifting though? wouldn't it accelerate faster if the engine stayed in its peak power
