3/28/10 longer version of Huckabee's explanation on why pre-existing conditions, schemes won't work

This is the longer version of Huckabees explanation of why pre-existing conditions (it's like being able to buy fire insurance after your house burned down) and other schemes in ObamaCare won't work. Third grade math is more complicated than the logic of why it will send health insurance premiums through the roof but that's waaay to complicated for liberals. I'm betting premiums will at least triple within five years and then the dems will blame it on those evil insurance companies again and insist we have to go to single payer.

Here are some facts:

Insurance premiums increase an average of 25% per year since Massachusetts implemented universal health care http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TE2xqyAGHw . According to the Boston Globe, they now have the highest premiums in the world.

Canada has single payer and out of 20 countries they rank last in value for their health care dollar http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2ki9jJUpLw .

England has single payer. Survival for breast cancer is 79% compared to 90% in the U.S. Do the math and it would mean an extra 24,000 deaths per year in the U.S. in just breast cancer alone.

Medicare turns down claims two to three times as much as insurance companies do.

The dems are giving you a snow job, dont buy it!!!! And don't buy their warped logic if you protect the border and you don't believe in coming up with more and more schemes to buy votes until the dollar collapses that you're a bigot and a racist. The liberals have been using that logic instead of facts for years. The word "responsibility" isnt even in the liberal vocabulary. They don't think past the tip of their nose.
