Today I got to see my 20 bags of nylon soccer pant get compacted. All our garbage goes to the incinerator downtown.

Thank you for inspiring me to clean out my dresser and closet. I have a ton of nylon soccer shorts from Umbro, Nike, Adidas, Lotto, Puma, Diadora, Mitre, High Five, Cyrk, and Soffe to name a few. I went through all of them and threw away the bad ones. The good ones are getting put up on eBay. The ones that don't sell get bagged up for trash day. I have around 15 to 20 bags now of nylon soccer pants. I had them all in boxes. I don't wear them anymore. They are going out on trash day also.

Most people don't understand all the liability issues and laws involving toys nowadays. You can't just "give away" toys. Most charities/hospitals won't take them unless they are new and in package. Goodwill has to throw out 90% of the toys donated to them. It all comes down to lawsuits. Let's say the toy was a part of a recall, Goodwill sold it to someone, and their kid got hurt. That person is going to sue Goodwill and Goodwill will get fined by the state/government for selling a recalled toy.
