The devastating Mumbai attacks of 2008 saw a complete freeze in relations between Pakistan and India. The composite dialogue process was abandoned and there has been no official contact between the two neighbours..... uptil now. A between Pakistan's Foreign Secretary and his Indian counterpart, Nirupama Rao was the official contact for over 14 months.
