La película: Pulp Fiction (escrita y dirigida por Quentin Tarantino en 1994). Interpretada, entre otros por: Samuel L. Jackson, John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Tim Roth, Bruce Willis, Maria de Medeiros, y Rosanna Arquette.
La escena: Al principio del film, cuando Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson) y Vincent Vega (John Travolta) se proponen recoger el misterioso maletín de Marcellus Wallace (Ving Rhames). Dicho maletín se encuentra en poder de unos chicos jóvenes e "inexpertos", mientras éstos se disponían a tomar el desayuno (hamburguesas del "Big Kahuna"). El pasaje bíblico (Libro de Ezequiel, capítulo 25 versículo 17), el cual recita ritualmente Samuel L. Jackson (Jules) - previo a la "ejecución" del sujeto en cuestión, es catalogado por muchos como todo un "icono cinematogáfico;" y dice asi:
"'The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides with the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who in the name of charity and good will shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon those with great vengeance and with furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know that my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.'"
