brilliant,capricious small notes,the presto has a perpetuum mobile character,this septett joins the perfect union among wind and string instruments,was very popular in beethoven's own time,nowadays should be played more often,due to its multiple ryhtms and melodies,long live ludwig van,and a last word extraordinary performance by the group

Beethoven resented the popularity of this piece, and he hated it for a long time. He thought that people were ignoring his other works.
