You should build in wifi card into your bot, then after speach recognition is recieved it could interact its responce based on a combination of pre programmed information & based on Internet or Intranet lookup from a larger knoledge based system. It's interlect could then be improved in a move inspired way. I love Nexi MDS and wrote some music inspired my its human look called"By his own had" see my youtube channel. Keep up the good work!!!!

The robot needs to be capable of listed functionality for $1000. 2d perception into 3d maps instead of lasers. Cheaper subsets of actuators for movement by wire. A multitasking operating system capable of communicating through system commands to simulateous hardware on the system. Wireless feedback to centralized servers for increased computational cooordination
