Moniters stuck in power saving mode mid way of a game?
Methods of waking it up-
1) open the disk tray.
2) switch inputs back and fourth ( Does not work 90% of the time)
3) Hardbooting it (Not reccommended)
How to check what problem it is-
1) try plugging in an extra moniter if works then its your old moniter that has a problem
2) If plugging in another moniter doesnt work then try opening up the Computer case and clean the harddrives fans and videocards . or just clean everything its better.
3) If cleaning doest work then try taking out the videocard and placing it back FIRMLY.
4) If it still doesnt work , check if your video card has another port and try that port or if there is a intergrated video card then plug into that. it should work if not then you'll have to RMA it if its still on warranty.
How to check if your Computer / Video card has faulty ports
1) Take out the cable that is plugged into the cpu (DVI , VGA , HDMI)
2) then take the cable and place it NEAR the port I STRESS NEAR ,DONT PLUG IT IN YET.
3) Heres the IMPORTANT PART - Listen closely for some static sound or if you can look closely and see if there are blue electric arcs that connects to the cable if you put it closely to the ports.
4) If the symptoms above are present then its a faulty port change it to the intergrated one if there is one if not just get a new videocard.
Hope this helps !(: thanks for viewing

This fix DOES NOT FIX MY PROBEM, Try pulling the jumper one over starting your pc then shuting it off re-seting jumper back to it's normal pos. and see if that don't work if not try pulling the battery, and starting system then reseting battery and check it then, If none of those work then what???

Why not just write a document on how to fix this, and run spell check over it...
Just a suggestion...

@hellachillin is the card under the processor, plugged in a horizontal position on the mother board, and its the thing that usually has all the plugs (HDMI, VGA, ETC...)
it usually have some kind of grappling things or a screw, its really easy to take out, just DONT TOUCH ANY OF THE CIRCUITS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just recently got a new pc. Everything was ok with it, then I downloaded a screensaver( I know, I shouldn't have dont it) And from that moment, every single game I play - makes my pc go in power saving mode. Everything else I do, exept games work. The problem appeared the second the screensaver was installed, so I'm possitive its nothing wrong with my computer. Any suggestions? :O

Hey Killorato heres the fix (at least my fix) remove each memory card one by one....shoot air into the slots then put them back in one by one. It worked for me. It was static in my case....shut me down for a week and disabled my video card and keyboard. I have a cheap dell 546s and its up and running again hardcore.
