The Hungarian vocal ensemble - General Harmony Singers - represents a special musical style, which has the following features:
- Rewriting and interpreting exclusively in singing voice musical pieces belonging to different periods of the history of music and to various trends, that were originally written for musical instruments.
What makes the sound of the ensemble even more peculiar, apart from this rare style, are the imitations of instruments and the interpretations that are often different from the original. Their repertoire spans a long period of time, from the Renaissance up to the pop music of today, including the instrumental music of the Baroque, the Classicism, and the Romanticism, evergreen plays, jazz-pieces, Beatles-hits, and interpretations of exotic folk songs. As it is also proved by the experiences of their concerts, the ensemble is capable to satisfy the musical needs of every generation with this wide repertoire.

Die ungarische General Harmony Singers vertreten einen besonderen Musikstil. Das Wesentliche dabei ist, dass Werke aus verschiedenen musikgeschichtlichen Epochen und Musikrichtungen ursprünglich instrumentaler Musik ausschließlich a capella arrangiert und vorgetragen werden. Abgesehen von diesem selten zu hörenden Stil machen die Instrumentenimitationen und die vom Original öfter abweichende Vortragsweise den Klang dieses Ensembles zu einem außergewöhnlichen. Das Repertoire reicht von Renaissance, über Barockmusik, Klassik, Romantik, Jazz-Stücken, Evergreens, Beatles-Songs bis hin zur heutigen Pop-Musik und zur Aufarbeitung von Folklore aus aller Welt. Die Erfahrungen bei Konzertbesuchen beweisen, dass die Bandbreite des Repertoires für jeden Geschmack etwas bereithält und alle Anforderungen zufriedenstellen kann.

A General Harmony Singers 1991 óta működik Szombathelyen. Az énekegyüttes egy különleges, Magyarországon ritkán hallható zenei stílust képvisel, mely stílus lényege:
- Különböző zenetörténeti korszakok és zenei irányzatok eredetileg hangszeres zenéinek feldolgozása és előadása hangszerek nélkül, kizárólag énekhangon.
E ritkán hallható stíluson túl a hangszer imitációk, s az eredetitől gyakran eltérő előadásmód teszi különlegessé az együttes hangzását.
Repertoárjuk a reneszánsztól egészen napjaink pop-zenéjéig terjed, magába foglalva a barokk, a klasszika, a romantika hangszeres zenéit, örökzöldeket, jazz-darabokat, Beatles-slágereket és egzotikus népzenei feldolgozásokat.
Mint azt koncerttapasztalataik is igazolják, e széles repertoárral az együttes képes minden korosztály zenei igényét kielégíteni önálló hangversenytermi koncerteken éppúgy, mint templomi koncerteken, szállodák kulturális programjában, és egyéb rendezvényeken.
