I strongly disagree with David Edwards. This was a wonderful, gripping, subtle and thought-provoking movie, not at all too long, with great atmosphere and performances, and extraordinary technique, undoubtedly one of the best movies of the last year.

Merryl Streep admitted at the Oscar festivities that she watched the movie twice in two days. The movie was a candidate for the OSCAR. So maybe the British critic should do better movies instead of assaulting this movie.
