Arbaeen procession london 2007

The procession was attended by all Shia Arabs Pakistanis Iranis afghanis etc.
it was a good turn out ... but i think there should have been some latmiyah in english or some sort of leaflets that told the people exactly what was happening and why we were there.

Salam aleikom brother/sister.

This procession is held mainly by Shia Muslims and is a commemoration of the death of Imam Hussain (as) who was the grandson of the prophet Muhammad (saw) who was killed along with his familly and chilldren in the most brutal of ways, In Karbala Iraq many years ago. However it is through his death that islam was able to live, and it shows his defiance against those that sought to destroy and pervert the name of islam.
