I'm making a teleprompter (evolved from the one shown, actually) at home. It's for use when we have to shoot company videos. Although we're a tech-oriented company, our people are not really used to the idea of using a teleprompter. So we shot this little vid to try to sell them on it. That's why the "Available now -- submit your script" bit.

R, the talent, and I were pretty chuffed about the vid till I showed to my wife, then asked her what message she got from it. "Wear your glasses," she said.
Showed it to my niece and asked her. "Message?" she said, "what message?"
Hmmmm. So we now have some ideas for a new, improved sales video--one that (we hope) actually communicates.
