"What the heck is this?"
Why, it would be an old 80`s anime called Akuma-kun. Based off of the great Shigeru Mizuki's manga of the same name.
This boy, called Akuma-kun, is given an important assignment from an old sorcerer. According to an ancient Jewish prophecy, demons will try to take over the world every 1,000 years. In order to save it, a utopia where demons and humans can live in harmony must be established. Akuma-kun is to study the art of summoning and fulfill said prophecy.

I`ve picked up a lot of things from screen shots
and descriptions I`ve seen on Japanese websites.
This anime in particular may have a very cutesy and quirky look,
but it maintains a slightly mature plot.

Sort of like Kitaro. They have the same creator, after all.

Now I have to ask, if anyone out there has every episode of this and can send them to me or tell me where to find them, I`ll love you forever and be eternally grateful.

Made of episodes 1-4. That was all I could find. There are other things floating around the internet too (mostly on Nico Nico Douga,) including a song by Hyadain (his music is killer.)
Other than that, I think I can say that this is one of the few fan videos of Akuma-kun out there.

Good news: I`ve found an alternate way to download clips. Faster too, with better quality. Now clip downloading/converting has become much less of an annoyance for me.
You won`t hear me complaining about crappy quality anymore (maybe.)

Since the anime is on the old side, the quality is supposed to be as such. It was better than what I expected.

Plus, I had a 12-day date with Ulead VideoStudio 11 Plus. Damn, was it awesome. Windows Movie Maker was being a bastard and wouldn`t take the clips/wasn`t responsive/whatever. So I downloaded a trial version of it.
I have to say that I quite like it, far more than WMM. But God, I`m too cheap to go out and buy it. I`ll miss it when the trial`s up.

Used the stupid short/radio-cut whatever version of the song because of the lack of clips.
As for why I chose the song, beats me. I thought it might`ve went somewhat with the anime. Hopefully it isn`t too bad.

Ahaha, I just finished watching the anime on Yahoo Japan videos. Unfortunately you have to pay for them, which I was borrowing my boyfriend's credit card to watch it. (live in Japan and don't have a credit card here)

Basically all the sites that I've seen that has this anime, you have to pay to watch it. So I doubt any foreigners will be able to watch it unless they live in Japan and have a credit card. But good luck with that. :D
