  • Wie viele Österreicher Deutsch sprechen ?

  • A constitutional monarchy would be FAR superior to the fragmented group of pseudo republics that didnt even last for two decades before being taken by Hitler. With the Emperor still on the throne and a parliament to represent the nations there would be no Hitler no holocaust no genocide in Yugoslavia and no communism....should I continue?

  • Hail to austria and hungary from Czech republic

  • Let me add that Napoleon was so impressed by the gloriously heroic fighting of the Habsburg Imperial troops (including Belgiums whom I had forgotten), that when he returned to Paris and anyone dared to dismiss the Imperial troops as of little worth, he would say: "Obviously, you were not at Wagram!" --Respect from the great Napoleon!

  • In this video, the white uniforms were of the regular army, although Hungarian regiments had blue pants. The bearskin hats belonged to grenadiers, the grey uniforms were Heimwehr (Home Guard or Reserve), and the green was for Jaegers (riflemen or sharpshooters). The "Roman" type helmets were used at the glorious battles of Aspern-Essling and Wagram, although Hungarian infantry already used shakos. Hungarian hussars were brilliant and Polish uhlans (lancers) were excellent also.

  • @horka4 The Czechs had nothing in common with the Russians except for the language family. Austria and the Czechs had centuries of shared history and culture. Slovakia was part of the Hungarian kingdom. Czechoslovakia was a mixture and a myth of ethnic unity: Czechs, millions of German speakers, Slovaks, Hungarians, Ruthenians, and a few thousand Poles! What is there now of Czechoslovakia? No Ruthenia, which is part of Ukraine, and Slovakia and Czech Republic are separated.

  • @Rohamkukac95 The Hungarian hussars, grenzers, and the infantry were all superb!

  • The Austrian imperial armies had glories under Montecuccoli against Louis XIV, Prince Eugene against Turks and French, Marshal Daun against Prussians, Archduke Karl against Napoleon, Radetzky against the Italians. Archduke Karl is on horseback with the regimental flag of Zach regiment at Aspern, the first victory against Napoleon, and Austrians, Czechs, Slovaks, Hungarians, Slovenians, Croatians, Poles, and Rumanians held off Napoleon for 2 days at Wagram with 50,000 fewer men!! That's glory!

  • Respects to Austria from the United Kingdom.

Our nations were great allies during many a war. Too bad we fell out in the most recent ones, but to me during the 18th Century the British, French and Austrians were alike for having the same love of elegance and culture, which I think too many have forgotten today. God save the Queen. Vive la France. Alles für Österreich!
