"Look like you guys are only doing about 10mph" ...the scoots do about 37 mph on a flat. 15mph on a steep uphill and 40mph downhill... Lots of fun however

I think its funny as hell that people feel the need to knock someone riding a scooter. They should take a trip to China or Japan where theres a million scooters on the roads everyday. To make fun of millions of scooters going around you kind of looses its purpose.

@softorsteeltip hey man are those speeds what you actually get with a stock ruckus with your weight on it? looks like we weigh about the same and im worried the ruckus will be sluggish with me on it

I prefer my Yamaha C3 it is fuel injected and has 9 gallons of lockable storage. It also has a more substantial feel to it's handle bars they aren't so light and cheap feeling but to the Ruckus's credit it definetly has a cult like following including the aftermarket. But KS Power an MRP dealer is working on the C3 with even a fuel injection controller to program it they way the owner wants wit htheir other upgrades with NO big bore kits the C3 can reach 50mph with the new ECU who knows.

i have a Z50 which i love but i rode a ruckus in Ocean City Maryland and it was pretty awesome, real smooth with (as far as automatic scooters go) good pick-up. I wish Honda would bring back the Motra and sell them in the US... that'll be the day.

There is something about a scooter that can not be so easy to explain. But, when you ride one, you will begin to understand. As for the speed, almost everyone I know who has a scoot also owns something faster. Scooters are just fun, nothing more. Besides, how often have you moved beyond 40 off the highway through the city?

I have a yamaha zuma and its the same thing! I love riding the scooter back and forth to places! I never spent more than 3.50 filling it up! I LOVE SCOOTERS!!!
