Jimmy played in many of the local country bands and formed many bands of his own including the original Jo Dee Messina Band and Lonesome Dove Band.

Once again in the 1980's Jimmy found himself in the television spotlight playing in Hyannis, Mass on a weekly show called Cappy's Country featuring Cappy Paxton with his stepson Johnny Paycheck. After doing the show for a few weeks, the producers recorded one of Jimmy's original instrumentals called "Walking The Dog" and used it as the show's opening number right up to it's end in 1996. The last aired show featured Jimmy with a young Billy Gilman.

In April of 1984 Jimmy was awarded induction into the New England Country Music Hall of Fame.

You are awesome and please keep posting your beautiful music on here. I want to find a way to save it and put it on a cd so I can listen to it when my computer isn't on. I listened to alot of music vids but yours are the best that I've heard.
