  • Love you cousin Robert! Semper Fi.

  • Respects for the Silver Star, but I think the Gunny deserved the Medal of Honour.

they might get payed alot in material things, but you forget one and i believe the most important part, those Marines today and a whole lot before them, are willing and did pay us with their lifes, who of us can say that in their "regular" job,so yes they should make at least 40-50 grand, which is a third of what a Congressmen makes that sends them to war

  • @marcusos1111 It's bad pay but it's not AS bad as it seems, because if you think about it Marines have almost everything paid for them. Like housing heating water insurance like everything regular peoples paychecks go to a Marine already has that paid off so they pocket all that money, but I agree it still should be raised

I'm going to assume you mean United States ranks.

"The highest rank possible" is General (this is the official title for a 4-star) during peacetime and General of the Army, General of the Air Force, or Admiral of the Navy depending on your branch.

The highest Navy and Coast Guard "rank possible" is Admiral (the official title for a 4-star Admiral) when not in a declared state of war.

There are also enlisted ranks, but I'm running out of space.

    Please discover Google.

GySgt is E-7. Base pay is roughly 2050 a month.

That's only base pay, there's also pay based on dependants, location, and hazard pay.

We get paid enough, we just want the budget passed so that we GET paid.

  • What is the highest rank posible?

    Thanks.
