  • There are a number of ways to it. The way I did it is I ran the game in dosbox, with Audacity running alongside, and recorded the output from my MT32 into the line in of my sound card. If one wants to record from the internal synth on the sound card itself.. sometimes if you check in the sound options(if your running vista) you will see a 'stereo mix' option in the recording tab.. not all sound cards have this though.

  • @Crolstopher In Vista/7 (if your soundcard is Realtek HD), right click on the recording devices and click on "Show Disabled Devices". You'll see "Stereo Mix" there and you can then enable it. Stereo Mix is normally disabled.

  • @wimle Ah, thank you for clarifying. I entirely forgot about making disabled devices visible in the recording options, a necessary step.
