  • This video is so awful that it needs no comment. How can you trust a guy talking about fonts when you can't even read his green-background+black font outline+white font. Hahaha.

  • Because the recording was bad quality.

  • Even still, your using terrible contrasts.

  • This is one of my first videos. In the beginning I was making videos in low quality, but now, I can create videos in better quality.

  • Arial to me just seems so...

Bland and ugly. Also if you pay close attention, Arial looks much more like Univers. Microsoft also has Segoe UI which is a blatant copy of Frutiger.... But yeah I have the entire Helvetica set (minus foreign sets), Gotham, Gill Sans, Avant Garde, Avenir, Trade Gothic, Century Gothic, DIN, and plenty of other Sans fonts and their my favorite to use.

  • well the title card was Helvetica...

Helvetica is widely used because it is available in many systems, because the licences were CHEAP. Still the Helvetica costs about 75% of the cheapest next font.

It has no small caps, it has no italic, it has only 1 number set i.s.o. 2. And it's number are unledgable; the 35689 all look the same.

It used to be a revolutionary font, but even Univers is better. Nowadays there are many better fonts.

Helvetica is one of the best fonts available today. Arial is a cheap copy of it. If you watch closely around you, more than 50% of all design is Helvetica, and its still a versatile font, depending on how you use it. Also, comparing medicines to fonts is plain dumb.

As for the video, my eyes are bleeding o_o

  • Helvetica, Arial, it's like comparing a totally rotten apple with a totally rotten pear.

Both are totally inept for the modern designer. Would you like your doctor to use ónly medicines that are 25-50 years old?

  • hahahah lol wtf which stupid **** did the design for this video !!! damn my eyes hurt.

  • Comic Sans!

  • Painful, isn't it?
