Out Run MSX2

This is the MSX2 version of Out Run. It was released by Sega in 1988.

it has far better graphics than the MSX1 version but the music and sound are unfortunately a lot less.

Yes, the MSX 1 version is great too.

The Master System was better and looked better. I know, I had it. Later came a 3D version with more detail on the side of the track. The Testarossa was smaller and the graphic a little slower. But nicer to look at.

Thanks for your comment. By this time Sega was abandoning the MSX system. Fantasy Zone II would be the last game that Sega produced for it in 1989. Both MSX versions had their own problems as with the music and sounds in this version.

I am not surprised that you might think it is, afterall they are from the same producer. I am not sure which one came first. I think the MSX2 version was released earlier that the Master System version but I might be mistaken.

I remember playing this game or one similar to this at one stage with my kids and if my memory serves me correctly I used to be more off the road then on the road and in the sand or up a palm tree somewhere. The music is subtle and very easy on the ears too.
