At 00:52 second mark when Mark Rose is speaking, the 3.85 G-force figure was when the ride opened. In 1999 they added a trim brake to the "Batwing" element to reduce the G-Forces because guests would black out due to the intense G-Forces.

they recently sped up the trim brake so it has little effect now and is hardly noticable on the ride.

It's variable. On cold days or empty trains it might not come on. The PLC determines the speed of the train by distance between split points and the PLC tells the trim brake how much force to exert.

So it is possible to get a trimless ride, but that means your train is going slow already, so there's no increased G's from it.

Danny's scream as he goes down the drop is priceless!!!! then he laughs it off!!!! the whole point of this ride! :D i think people who are afraid of this ride need to watch that part!!!! he clearly shows he is afraid of heights, yet after the drop he is laughing and feeling great! I loved this ride, and i am afraid of heights!
