this was one of the first songs that got me into them Your right they should be as famious as Zeppelin or Sabbath & there not!! & thats what gets me mad

If you know your rock and roll, they are as famous as Zeppelin and Sabbath. Sometimes, you have to dig a little to find the gems. Rock radio these days is all about the MONEY not the music, the rat b*&^#rds. Too bad, because this band ROCKS!

At the time I thought their debut album, As Safe As Yesterday Is, was the 2nd best debut album I'd ever heard. I thought so at the time and still think so now.

@mrmarriottsgirl He was a great rhythm guitar player too. He does not really seem to get much credit for it.

I always say this but to me NO ONE will EVER top Marriott as a consumate rock musician! 20 yrs ago today he passed, way too soon. Marriott could play any style & sing any style & had a natural raw crazy grace & charm like none else.Even at the end when the suits & hanger's on helped destroy him Marriott NEVER COMPRISED his music or spirit. He lived breathed & died for his music - at his detrement. Disrespected, lied to & stepped on he never lost his love for the music & I will ALWAYS miss him!

do you know Cactus? I suggest you to listen to (they were active between 1969 and 1973) they were considered the American Answer to the Led Zeppelin, but they are not so present in new medias. We are talking about 40 years ago, so many things have changed.
