And please don't tell me you have to be nasty to win. John Wooden and other coaches were winners.  They were decent, rational, humane, understanding human beings. bobby knight is the jozef stalin of sport.

bob knight deserves one more thing he never got. a good asskicking. he's always physically or verbally abused persons he could get away with. its a shame that in his prime that one of thousands of men in america who were physically equal or better didn't give him a good boxing or ultimate fighting lesson. all his wins mean nothing. he's a bully. and since he was protected by his fame and having the best basketball program, he was spared what all bullies ultimately get-their assess kicked

Its obvious you never player real basketball. Every basketball player I know would give an arm and a leg to play under Bobby Knight. Yea he's loud. And angry. And if he hits you it because you did it right a thousand times in practice and you still fucked it up in a game.

There is a reason that only John Wooden has a better repute than Knight, and thats because Knight has a bad temper. I'll say this though, more people have become successful in life because of Knight than everyone but Wooden.
