Love Love, Kiss Kiss: Settle the Score (a Capella)

Utilizing black, white, and red candles, an Odin tree, a home-made voodoo doll (SockMonster), and a few other artistically constructed and chosen props, I restructured the existing lyrics of this Alkaline Trio song to help me through my own very raw grieving ritual for a lover who passed away last fall. The project has helped me come to better terms with my loss, and made me squeeze some fresh creativity out of my brain. It made me delve back into the work my soul mate and I bled for, and relearn to love every minute of it. During the filming, my voice shook with my hands as I surrendered to the raw emotion wracking my soul. All in all, I came out with only one cut on my hand from my finale. Thank you very much for this precious opportunity for giving me this particular inspiration to exorcise my personal demon, my closest ghost. With the relief already washing over me, I feel like I regained a large part of myself. ~AASB/RS~
